Languages learnt as one system grow each other. Taught as strangers, one always pays for the other.

பாடப்பொருள் தமிழ்நாட்டுக்கே சொந்தம். குழந்தை தனியாகத் "தமிழ்ப் பண்பாட்டு வகுப்பு" எதற்கும் செல்வதில்லை. பண்பாடே பாடத்திட்டம் — வேர்கள் தாமாக வரும்.
The material is Tamil Nadu's own. The child doesn't attend a Tamil-culture class. The culture is the syllabus — so the roots come free.

Finishes Grade 5 speaking, reading and writing in both Tamil and English — rooted in Tamil culture, because of how she learnt, not in spite of it.
எங்கே பொருந்துகிறது · Where it sits
Ennum Ezhuthum — the state's flagship early-grades literacy mission — moved reading in the primary grades; the state's own survey analysis credits it for exactly that.
A decade of foundational work is why a layer like this is possible at all. The remaining gap is the English outcome — the one result parents are switching mediums to buy. This grows the two languages as one system, through the state's own culture, inside the foundation that work built.

Measured on both languages by the instruments the state already trusts — and, for the first time, a measurement of rootedness itself.
